The Faces of Kigo: Meet Rosio Perez

Meet Rosio Perez, Kigo Implementation Consultant based in Richardson, Texas. Rosio is a tremendous asset to the Kigo team, and has been recognized for her outstanding performance in her role. A true team player, Rosio goes out of her way to support both Kigo clients and her colleagues.

Tell us about yourself!

My name is Rosio Perez, and I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Both of my parents are Mexican. I’m a very outgoing and friendly person, and I love sports (especially football). I’m not a Dallas Cowboys fan per se, but am more of a players fan. I will have been with Kigo for three years in February.

What is your role at Kigo?

I am an Implementation Consultant here at Kigo. My responsibilities include, but not are limited to, helping our new clients set up Kigo vacation rental management software and all of the VAS services aside from websites. I give them the necessary resources to set up their businesses for success. I am bilingual (speaking English and Spanish) and I help our Latin America clients by speaking in their native language to guide and set up the system for them, as well.

Why do you do your job?

I like talking to people and establishing relationships! Aside from that, I also love using my knowledge and experience with Kigo to talk facts with my clients.

What makes Kigo stand out from the competition?

I have received feedback in the past that Kigo stands out in how we do our training. We take the time and have the resources to help our clients gain knowledge, so that they are able to maximize the value of the products they purchase.

What is your favorite feature of Kigo? How does it help VRs do their jobs better?

My favorite feature has to be the Kigo Guest App. This tool is so helpful in communications between the guest and property manager during a stay. The layout and setup is easy, but also allows the manager to give specific information. Nowadays, people are always on their phones and use them to do just about anything. We bring a mobile guest app to the table and help property managers improve communications with guests, which is a big plus.

How is Kigo changing the vacation rental industry?

We are constantly working on new product improvements to help make the Kigo system stronger.

How does a hobby or passion of yours translate into your role at Kigo?

Vince Lombardi once said, “Football is like life—it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority.” I feel the same way about my role at Kigo.

How do you approach finding places to stay when you travel?

I typically use Airbnb in my search. When evaluating properties, I look for Wi-Fi and kitchen utensils. I avoid vacation rentals with smoking allowed.

How can property owners make their vacation rentals more appealing?

Property owners should include nice, high-quality pictures. These set the tone for your properties, and close the deal with prospective guests.

As we continue to explore the Faces of Kigo, you will meet more members of our global team working every day to create the best products in travel. Stay tuned!
