Tell us a bit about Find Rentals

Find Rentals operates as a vacation property manager’s direct booking channel by delivering a high volume of qualified travelers to their website to increase occupancy rates and yield higher profit margins.  Leads are generated through advertising the unique property managers brand, properties, and services with an exceptional ROI.

COVID-19 really shook up the vacation and corporate rental industry! What was the biggest shift you saw in terms of travel trends?

The biggest shifts we saw were from fly to drive to markets, OTAs not honoring cancelations, booking windows shortened and travelers seeking Covid-safe bubbles for the family to work and school remotely.

How is Find Rentals helping property managers adapt to these changes?

Our primary focus is to deliver a consistent and meaningful message to travelers of the advantages of booking directly with the locally run vacation property manager’s brand.  Their brand and their structured longtail SEO phrases need to cater to these trends.

Are there any mistakes you see being made time and time again that Find Rentals can really help with?

The biggest problem is that property managers give away all their control to OTAs. You should have both an OTA and direct booking strategy in place.

What top tips would you give to property managers who are struggling to convert lookers into bookers?

Throw in extra concierge services with free activities included in the rate.

You need to have a forward-looking market strategy that reduces your dependency on OTA’s and focus on being the local expert by utilizing concierge service to support “workcations”, “schoolcations” and outdoor activities.
